The 115th Congress is off to a running start. This session will highlight the evolving federal legislative and regulatory landscape and its effect on governments' ability to raise revenue and issue debt. Panelists will discuss proposals to limit the tax-exemption on municipal bond interest, attempts to roll back the Affordable Care and Dodd-Frank Acts, federal preemption of state and local sales tax collection, and anticipated Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) activity.
