This session will feature speakers from the City of Vaughn to discuss two important components to the City's long term financial sustainability. First, speakers will discuss how it plans to build a holistic approach to a holistic approach to addressing long-term financial sustainability using a combination of growth, infrastructure assets, and service level analysis for an urban growth centre. Speakers will also discuss the City’s approach to drafting a multi-year budget that aligns organizational strategy with its fiscal framework including the development of a new corporate strategy map and a conceptual budget framework. Attendees will also hear how municipalities responded to the challenge developing and renewing infrastructure, including the Infrastructure Ontario P3 Model and what role the Canada Infrastructure Bank play in Canadian infrastructure development. Attend this session to learn how to apply these techniques to your organisation, identify practical strategies for implementation, and learn from the City's prior experience.
