Prince George’s County Public Schools in Maryland, one of the largest school systems in the nation, is a culturally diverse organization dedicated to the highest educational standards. Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Director will be responsible for performing executive level supervision for processing complex economic/fiscal transactions, financial accounting and reporting, accounts payable, insurance and risk management, and cash management operations. Position requires: Master's degree from an accredited institution with concentration in finance, financial management, accounting, public administration or a related field; increasingly responsible experience in financial management and administration required, with a minimum of five years of financial management/analytical experience in a large public sector organization; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
