Seeking a dynamic Chief Accounting Officer to fill the Director role and provide oversight and management of the Fiscal Management Division within the Department of Administration. Provides, plans, organizes and directs all phases of the County's centralized accounting operations. Provides oversight and technical expertise for all accounting functions to ensure the most effective, efficient and ethical day-to-day operations of the Fiscal Management Division of the Department of Administration. The successful candidate must have the ability to foster effective public relations and work collaboratively with a very diverse customer base to deliver effective solutions with a keen commitment to excellent customer service. The Division's functions include financial reporting, accounts payable, payroll, fixed asset accounting, general accounting, grant accounting, bond issue compliance, and TIF reporting. The Chief Accounting Officer is responsible for assuring County compliance with all applicable financial regulations, ordinances and statutes.
