Job Description: 

Glynn County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Finance Manager. Reporting to the Director of Administrative Services & CFO, the Finance Manager is responsible for planning, managing and overseeing the daily functions of the Finance Department.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Possession of a Master’s degree and/or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate is preferred. Education must be supplemented by six (6) years previous experience and/or training that includes financial management of a local government of comparable size, governmental accounting, budget development, management and employee supervision; or any equivalent combination or education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for this job. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
