The Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities has a full-time vacancy for a Manager, P-Card within the Contracts and Procurement Division in the Regional Administration Division. Applications submitted by November 26, will be given preference. This position will remain open continuous until filled.
Note: This position may require travel between primary Council work site to other sites, some sites do not have access to public transportation.
About the Position: The role of the P-Card Manager is to provide Council employees with immediate purchasing power within prescribed limitations, following Council expenditure policies and procedures. The P-card provides quick service (pay and receive on demand goods) and requires back-end processing efforts on the part of the cardholder, their manager and the P-card Administrator. The person in this role is responsible for management of the P-card program. She or he will develop policies and procedures for the governance of P-card operations. This position will manage a minimum of two (2) staff.
