Dunn County, Wisconsin (pop. 44,497) is seeking a Chief Financial Officer/County Auditor (CFO). The CFO directs county-wide financial operations, including financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger accounting and budgeting, and ensures the fiduciary responsibility of all County operations. The CFO manages a department budget of $6 million and a staff of 16 FTEs, including three accounting managers. The CFO reports to the County Manager and has frequent interaction with the County’s Executive Committee and the Committee on Administration. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or a related field and extensive experience with progressively responsible financial/auditing experience, including four years of supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Qualified candidates will have experience in budgeting, governmental fund accounting, managing enterprise funds, long-range fiscal planning and utilizing an integrated accounting software and ERP platform. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills. Wisconsin local government experience and working knowledge of SAP helpful but not required.
