The City of Glendora seeks a polished leader with highly developed management skills looking to join our award winning Finance Department team as Assistant Finance Director! The AFD will serve as a key liaison to all City Departments, act on behalf of the Finance Director in her absence, manage the preparation of the CAFR and budget, and be responsible for overall daily oversight of the finance team. The AFD will continue to build and foster a collaborative and professional atmosphere within the department and promote cooperation, excellent customer service and support to City Department customers and the public.

The Finance Department is responsible for Citywide and Agency revenues and expenditures, handles water utility collections, cashiering functions with public counter services, manages payroll, accounts payable/receivable, manages several competitive grants and check warrants for City Council ratification, and oversees Information Technology Services in conjunction with the Information Technology division of the Police Department to create a hybrid program that provides tech services Citywide.
