Under the direction of the Director, Grants Management, this position is responsible for the post-award financial and accounting processes for all grants (entitlement, competitive and private funding) and all activities involved with the Single Audit. This includes budget monitoring, accounting, interacting with various federal systems, and financial compliance reporting related to the City’s grants and contracts with federal, state, local agencies and private foundations. He/she will administer policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the funding agency and the City’s accounting standards. The Grants Accounting Manager will work collaboratively with the departments, subrecipients, and with the General Accounting Office.
