The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) organization is seeking a highly experienced professional to serve as the Section Director over Finance & Accounting. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position oversees budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting operations which includes budget preparation and management, grant financial management, all accounting and payroll functions, and financial reporting and audit oversight for MTC and all its affiliated agencies and programs. This position requires a Master's degree or a Bachelor’s degree with an equivalent combination of education and experience and six years of increasingly responsible experience effectively leading and managing a division or department doing related work with at least four years at the level of senior management in a regional or local government agency. CPA designation is desirable.
