Position Objective To provide efficient and effective financial services to the County through the development of financial policies, controls and accounting practices. The position is responsible for the County's Financial System under the general direction of the County Auditor/Treasurer to promote and sustain the County's financial integrity through the development and maintenance of strong financial accounting practices.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or higher in accounting, finance or a closely related field. Must possess at least six years of progressively related accounting experience related to budgeting, fund accounting and public finance; supervisory experience; and experience using Microsoft Office Suite. Must possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) certificate.
Full Salary Range $85,378-$125,309/annually (Grade 29, Non-union position).
