Job Description: 

HCA Asset Management ("HCA”) is a capital asset management and valuation firm offering inventory, appraisal, financial reporting and consulting services throughout the United States. HCA is seeking a Senior Consultant to support our growing client base in the higher education, governmental and healthcare space.

The ideal candidate will have experience in 3 key areas:

Project Management

> Comfortable overseeing small teams with first-time high-quality deliverables

> Possess exceptional Client-facing skills

> Proactively manages Client expectations resulting in positive outcomes

> Is extremely organized with time management and project scheduling

> Demonstrates superior communication with internal and external stakeholders

> Assists with training and mentoring entry level consultants

Data Analysis

> Experienced in large-dataset analysis and troubleshooting

> Extract, load, model, and reconcile large amounts of data across multiple system platforms and sources

> Review data to determine operational impacts and needed actions; elevate issues, areas for improvement

> Ensure compliance with federal and state reporting requirements by performing data quality audits and analysis

Capital Asset Management

> Has a minimum of 2 years’ experience working or consulting in governmental accounting

> Demonstrates working knowledge of Uniform Guidance (UG) policy and regulation

> Well-versed in GASB 34/35, and compliance issues

> Has extensive knowledge regarding the complexities of capital asset management

> Experience in developing policies to guide capital asset management practices

As a new team member with HCA, you will need to:

> Be proactive in improving internal and external processes

> Travel overnight to client locations across the country 65-70% of the time

> Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Access

> Have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

> Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
