Sarasota County, one of the premier communities in Florida, is seeking a Procurement Official to oversee $300 million in annual contracts for good, services and materials. This roll requires a critical thinker who can develop division goals and objectives, manage strategic and business planning, and enhance procurement policies and procedures.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree and six years relevant experience or a Master’s Degree and four years relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include CPPB, CPPO or CPM certification at time of hire; certification required within 12 months. Public-sector purchasing experience highly preferred.
