General Summary Plans, directs and administers the work needed to incorporate existing and improved business requirements in the configuration of software applications that impact accounting and/or finance processes, systems, and reporting. Possesses the ability to troubleshoot and recommend alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements and standard system functionality. Manages the Accounting Division’s participation in complex enterprise-wide system implementations. Contributes expertise to cross-functional teams of business and technology subject matter experts to enhance data and process coordination between and among business units and software modules. Performs data analysis in support of accounting/finance operations and projects. May assume the role of Accounting Section Manager when necessary.
