Executive Board Slate for 2009-2010

The GFOA Nominating Committee met recently to nominate a slate of candidates for the 2009-2012 GFOA Executive Board. The committee members nominated a president-elect for 2009-2010 and five candidates for member-at-large positions. The slate will be presented for a vote of the GFOA’s membership at the annual business meeting on Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at the GFOA’s annual conference in Seattle, Washington. The slate of candidates includes:

President-elect:

Members-at-Large:

• Timothy L. Firestine, Chief Administrative Officer, Montgomery County, Maryland
• Lisa Marie Harris, Chief Deputy Treasurer, County of San Diego, California
• Bob Scott, Assistant City Manager/Chief Financial Officer, City of Carrollton, Texas
• Bill Stafford, Chief Financial Officer, Evanston Township High School District 202, Illinois
• Karen L. Wilcox, Director of Finance, Sacramento Area Council of Governments, California
