Department of Commerce – National Telecommunications and Information Administration The NTIA and the Rural Utilities Service (RUS) announced the release of a joint Request for Information seeking public comment on issues relating to the implementation of the Broadband Initiatives Program and the Broadband Technology Opportunities Program. The input the agencies gather from this process is intended help them allocate funding resources received from the American Resource and Recovery Act to expand access to broadband services throughout the United States.
