Deadline for 2010 Awards for Excellence Entries is December 31December 31, 2009, is the deadline to submit an entry for the GFOA’s prestigious annual Awards for
Excellence in Government Finance. The awards recognize outstanding contributions to the practice of government finance that exemplify leadership in the profession. Entries may be submitted for consideration in any of the following categories: - Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Reporting
- Budgeting and Financial Planning
- Cash Management and Investing
- Capital Finance and Debt Administration
- Economic Development
- e-Government and Technology
- ERP and Financial Systems
- Management and Service Delivery
- Pensions and Benefits
There is no charge for submitting an entry to the Awards for Excellence. The awards will be announced at
