Project Close-OutA project should have a structured ending. Perform a project review that:
- Reviews project performance against the original goals
- Identifies critical ongoing tasks
- Assesses risks to realizing the full benefits of the project over time
- Identifies lessons-learned for future projects.
The close-out should also provide for a celebration of the project’s successes. A celebration will encourage people to participate on future projects.
