Rob Roque
Senior Manager, Government Finance Officers Association


Rob Roque is a Senior Manager and has been with GFOA since 1998.  He is one of the original designers of GFOA’s enterprise system selection methodology.  Mr. Roque’s primary responsibilities with GFOA are to provide enterprise system implementation advisory services, enterprise system project management services, enterprise selection services, and technology needs assessments services.  He also assists with managing internal technology projects for GFOA and has worked on more than 75 projects since joining GFOA. His primary role is managing GFOA’s larger technology projects.  He is also an instructor for GFOA’s ERP and project management training curriculum.

Prior to joining GFOA, Rob was a senior budget analyst with the City of Pittsburgh, PA where he was responsible for the budgetary structure/general ledger design and design of the management reports for the implementation of the City’s PeopleSoft implementation.  He also worked as a research analyst for the Pennsylvania Economy League where he employed research techniques to local government revenue forecasting, regional tax estimates and GIS.
