Patrick McCullough is Assistant Vice President – Public Sector at Colonial Life. He has spent more than a decade working at multiple Fortune 500 firms where he was charged with developing services and employee benefits solutions for both government and private companies. He is currently Assistant Vice-President, Public Sector Practice Leader at Colonial Life insurance, where among other things, he has been working with GFOA on its latest whitepaper on health care cost management strategies. Founded in 1939, Colonial Life has been serving public sector organizations for over 70 years and is currently supporting more than 10,000 local government clients across the United States.

Patrick holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Concordia University (Montreal), and MIS and MBA degrees from Southern Miss where he also enjoyed a brief career as an assistant football coach. Patrick has also completed post graduate education at both Columbia Business School and New York University’s Stern School of Business.
