Dianne McNabb, CPA is a Director in the financial advisory practice and manager of the Atlanta office of Public Financial Management, Inc. (PFM), the largest financial advisory firm in the nation.   Prior to joining PFM in 2008, Ms. McNabb spent 17 years in public finance with an international securities firm where she held Series 7, Series 52 and Series 65 securities licenses and 15 years in public accounting specializing in governmental accounting and auditing.  With over 30 years of experience in government finance, accounting and reporting, Ms. McNabb has provided professional services to many state and local governments in the Southeast.  Over the last five years alone, Ms. McNabb has provided financial advisory services for over $3.5 billion in bond issues for her current clients, including City of Alpharetta, GA; Atlanta Public Schools; Augusta-Richmond County; Chatham County; Cobb County; Cobb County School District; City Schools of Decatur; DeKalb County; DeKalb County School District; Fulton County; Fulton County School District; City of Marietta; and Marietta City Schools, among others.

A Certified Public Accountant, Ms. McNabb holds memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), currently serving on the Committee on Economic Development and Capital Planning.  As a former member of the GFOA Special Review Committee, she reviewed governmental comprehensive annual financial reports for the GFOA Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting Program.  She has been a presenter of continuing education programs for national and regional organizations and conferences, including the AICPA National Governmental Accounting and Auditing Conference, the GFOA Annual Conference, GFOA National Training Courses and the Council of Infrastructure Financing Authorities National Workshop, and, for over 10 years, an instructor for the University of Georgia Carl Vinson Institute of Government - Government Finance Officer Certification Program.  In 1991, she received KPMG’s Instructor Excellence Award as the top instructor in the nation in the KPMG governmental accounting and auditing training program.  Ms. McNabb received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from The University of Alabama.
