GFOA Topic Area The Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) presents the topic-based portion of its Web site to provide a resource center for all GFOA products, research, and services related to key finance topics. To the left and to the right is a list of broad subject areas, including accounting, auditing, and financial reporting; budgeting and management; treasury management; debt management; pensions and benefits; technology; and economic development for finance officials. Each topic area contains more detailed subject sections and will include information on GFOA publications, recommended practices, committees, trainings, award programs, and consulting.
