We are looking for a collaborative individual that demonstrates leadership in the areas of accounting, accounts payable, financial reporting, payroll, procurement, and treasury services. This is one of two management positions that will work as a self-directed team over the work of the Financial Services Division. You will manage two or more of the functional areas depending on the strengths you bring to the organization. The Accounting and Treasury functions provide central design and administration of the City’s General Ledger and Financial Reporting as well as administration of the City’s cash management, investments, and debt management activities. The Procurement, Payroll and Accounts Payable functions provide central design and administration of the City’s contracting and purchasing as well as payroll and accounts payable operations. This position plays a key role management role in overseeing a staff of 25 comprised of 3 assistant managers and frontline staff.
