The City of Chaska, Minnesota, seeks an experienced billing professional to serve as a Customer Relations Supervisor. This is a new leadership position that will manage an experienced five-member utility-billing team and reports to the Administrative Services Director. Position also works with department heads in electric, water, sewer and storm-water utilities addressing a broad range of customer service needs related to billing, collection, and reporting. Each month over 12,000 bills are prepared for $44.5 million in total annual billing.
Position qualifications include: a two-year associate degree in accounting or related field; seven years accounting experience with billing background within the last ten years; and three years of supervisory and performance management experience. Desired qualifications include: electric billing experience including large power customers; ERP and AMI experience; governmental accounting experience; and a bachelor’s degree.
