SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Under administrative direction, serves as the assistant to the chief fiscal officer for the City by assisting in the oversight of the administration of all financial activities; serves as assistant City Treasurer and; attends regular, special and/or committee meetings of City Council, Finance Committee, Health Insurance Committee, and other boards and commissions as requested; assists in the administration of various operations including financial operations, employee benefits and clerical duties related to the Clerk of Council.
QUALIFICATIONS: An example of acceptable qualifications:
Completion of Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of five (5) years experience in accounting, finance or auditing, experience dealing with receipts, disbursements, payroll, fixed assets and the preparation of financial reports.
The salary range for this position is $71,985.00 to $90,226.00 depending on qualifications and experience; includes a comprehensive benefits package.
