Guilford County is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for its Finance Department. The successful candidate will be well versed in the supervision and management of all accounts payable, payroll, and general accounting functions for the County.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university at time of graduation with a minimum of three years of professional accounting management experience with a minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity, with an emphasis on payroll and accounts payables. Proficient knowledge of GASB. It is preferred that the candidate be a CPA with more than five years in governmental accounting.
