Job Description

The Administrative Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring STA is compliant with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies. The position will be responsible for reviewing and updating agency-wide’ policies, procedures as well as oversight over fiscal management compliance. This role will also provide training on agency-wide policies and procedures. Other duties include serving an internal audit function for the department as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer and will manage internal controls.

The role will serve as an audit liaison for local, state, and federal audits. Responsibilities will also include managing and auditing roles and workflow in STA’s financial system. Work requires the application of independent judgement based on considerable knowledge of the overall function of STA, financial accounting and auditing principles, financial systems, and project management. Work involves regular contact with all departments and levels within STA, as well as external support teams working in a highly confidential manner. Work requires strong independent judgment, discretion, problem solving and coordination with others.
