Finance Director

DSRSD provides water, wastewater, and recycled water services to 194,600 residents in Dublin, Pleasanton, and portions of San Ramon. With an FY 2026 budget of $91 million and 142 FTE positions, the District is a modern, innovative utility known for environmental stewardship, regional collaboration, and customer-focused service.

The Finance Department is a new, standalone department that reports directly to the General Manager and is supported by a talented team of 12 staff. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled finance professional to optimize core financial functions in a high-performing organization committed to continuous improvement, innovative practices, and providing exceptional customer service.

The District seeks an experienced public sector finance professional who thrives in a collaborative team environment. This forward-thinking professional will implement best practices that enhance efficiency and ensure high-quality financial information. Ideal candidates will possess 10 years of finance experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. A CPA is desirable.
