POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, the financial analyst will play a key role in guiding financial decisions by providing insights and recommendations based on thorough analysis and modeling according to Generally Accepted Standard Accounting Principles. This position will be responsible for defining, designing, and building financial models, reports, and presentations to support internal planning and budgeting. Understand key metrics and leverage financial information to guide decision making. Must demonstrate strong analytics and critical thinking skills, a strategically oriented thought process, and exceptional communication skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), government accounting experience preferred.
- Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis expertise.
