Committee Member Application

Committee member applications will be accepted until Friday, July 18.

Please note that GFOA does not provide for the reimbursement of expenses incurred in connection with committee activities.  Please review the Standing Committees Policies and Procedures for other committee guidelines.  Appointments will be finalized in early September 2014.  You will be notified by letter whether you have or have not been appointed. The appointed term will last for 3 years.   Standing committees will convene for thier next meeting on December 11-12, 2014 in Washington D.C.

Note: you must complete your application at one time.  The form will not allow applicants to save responses are return at a later time to complete the application.  Only one application per applicant will be accepted.

Please indicate your preference for each committee below.  Applicants will be evaluated initially for thier first priority selection.  If applicants are not chosen for thier first selection, evaluation will be made for their second, and third option.  Applicants are not required to list a choice for a second or third priority.

GFOA attempts to place qualified applicants in thier first selection, but this is not always possible due to the limited number of openings.
