Job Description: 

Prince George’s County Public Schools in Maryland, one of the largest school systems in the nation, is a culturally diverse organization dedicated to the highest educational standards. In this position, you will work under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer and will be responsible for directing, performing and planning daily operations of group benefit programs, executive level supervision for processing system-wide benefits, transaction and costing analysis and reconciliation of benefits, and financial management and compliance reporting. Position requires: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA/CPA preferred) or related field with increasingly responsible experience in financial management and administration required. 5 years of experience in a benefit leadership position including supervision of a professional benefits staff managing and supervising a large computerized benefit system in government or the private sector (experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems required, preferably Oracle HRMS is a plus); or any equivalent experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred; Professional in Human Resources (PHR) acceptable; Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) preferred. We offer a competitive salary and benefits.
