The City of Salida is seeking a Director of Finance & Administrative Services.This position is responsible for all financial record-keeping, budgeting and reporting required under Colorado Revised Statutes (C.R.S.) and the Salida Municipal Code (SMC) and for managing a variety of other administrative matters. The position performs a variety of complex supervisory, professional, administrative and technical accounting and finance functions in maintaining the fiscal records and systems of the City.
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required, MBA and CPA preferred. A minimum of ten years of professional experience, including at least five years of directly relevant work in an accounting or financial management position. Government accounting experience is preferred. Starting annual salary is $68,479 – $85,598 dependent on qualifications and experience. This is a full time position with full benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement plan.
