East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) seeks a highly qualified Treasury Manager. With 1.4 million water customers and 680,000 wastewater customers, 1,800 employees, a $2 billion biannual budget and $3 billion debt portfolio, East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) is one of the largest water/wastewater utilities in California and a recognized leader in supply planning and capital program and financial management.
Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Treasury Manager is responsible for all treasury management and financial planning activities of EBMUD including liquidity and cash management, investment management, investment advisory support for the District’s defined benefit and defined contribution plans, long-range financial planning, debt management, and management of water and wastewater rates and charges.
The annual salary is $126,264 up to $182,376. Initial placement within the range is based upon qualifications. Appointment is typically made at or below the control point ($164,136 per year).
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree and five or more years of supervisory or senior staff level experience in cash management, debt management, investment management, financial forecasting, financial planning, or utility financial management. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree or certifications are highly desirable.
