Clay County Public Health Center (CCPHC) seeks candidates for the position of full-time Manager of Accounting. The health center is nationally accredited and in Liberty, MO within the greater Kansas City, MO area.
Duties include but are not limited to:
-Ensures accurate financials and compliant financial functions -Maintains agency financial controls and adheres to Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) guidelines and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) -Manages cash, investment, asset and budget functions -Manages medical billing, accounts receivable and payable functions and staff -Manages payroll (through ADP), tax and other legal filing requirements -Works with agency staff in grants management -Leads annual audit process
-Bachelors Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Accounting or related field is required -Two years of related experience is required; five years of experience is preferred -Excellent communication, computer, organizational, attention to detail and accuracy skills are required -Two years supervisory experience leading teams is preferred -The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong capacity to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks in a timely, accurate manner
