The City of Chaska, Minnesota, seeks an experienced finance professional to serve as its next Finance Manager. Position leads an experienced seven-member finance team and reports to the Administrative Services Director. Position also works with department heads and City Administrator to address a broad range of financial matters and projects. The 2018 Budget includes a General Fund at $16.1 million, a $35.4 million Electric Fund, and $19.5 million in additional enterprise funds.
Position qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, or a closely related field, and three years of experience with both governmental accounting principles and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) Statements. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Public Financial Officer (CFFO) and five years of government accounting or auditing experience desired. Salary range is $87,139 to $130,708 DOQ/E.
