Job Description: 

Full-time employment (37.5 hrs/wk).  The Broward County Auditor’s Office promotes efficient, effective, equitable and accountable government.  We conduct independent and objective analyses of Broward County government agencies and programs.  Our performance audits assess their operational efficiency, effectiveness and economy. The Performance Audit Supervisor plans, assigns and supervises the work of professional auditors in completing multiple, complex performance audits. DESIRED SKILLS - Analytical, Critical Thinking, Conceptual Thinking, Oral and Written Communications, Research, Interview, Computer, Interpersonal, Project Management, Supervisory, Leadership.  REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business or public administration, political science, public policy, statistics, economics, law, social sciences, or a related field. Four (4) years of increasingly responsible research, program evaluation, or performance auditing experience. Two (2) years of supervisory experience in a governmental audit environment. Submission of demonstrated writing skills.  MPA, MBA or Master’s degree in a related field, highly desirable.
