The Vice President of Finance and Controller is responsible for the leadership direction, coordination and administration of the Corporations financial activities. This position serves on the executive leadership team and supervises the Director of Accounting, Director of Procurement, Director of Information Technology, Director of Budget and Compliance and Grants Financial Manager. The Finance Division is responsible for the organizations financial well-being. This includes but is not limited to the financial management and oversight of internal controls to provide appropriate and reliable financial reports. The Finance Division must select and apply appropriate accounting principles to reduce financial risks, provide long term sustainable organizational structure for the department and remain in compliance as mandated by SEFA, FTA, FHWA, INDOT, GASB, GAAP. The Division is also responsible for strategic planning, budget and forecasting, asset management oversight and all procurement functions as mandated by FTA procurement guidelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as corporation controller.
Manage and supervise the Finance Department, oversee the development and enforcement of appropriate policies and monitor departmental compliance with all rules and policies established by management, the board of directors and local, state and federal agencies.
Review annual operating budgets and develop revenue and expense forecasts.
Provide reports and interpret results of operations to appropriate members of management and the Board of Directors.
