GFOA's Women's Public Finance Network (WPFN) fosters the careers of women in public finance through education and networking opportunities. Guided by the 2026–2027 theme, “Shift, Evolve, Transform,” this session will explore how women at all stages of their careers can adapt to change, strengthen their leadership presence, expand their influence, and drive meaningful transformation within their organizations and communities.
The session will examine how core leadership principles evolve in a changing environment, including decision-making under pressure, building trust, navigating change, and empowering others to perform at their best. Through reflection and discussion, attendees will be encouraged to learn from one another and apply practical strategies that support continuous growth and transformation—for themselves, their teams, and the public they serve.
