In 2026, all federal funds Single Audits will be conducted in accordance with the audit guidance in the 2024 Uniform Guidance (UG) update, and most governments will have been following that updated UG for all or most of their grants for the year under audit.
This session will discuss the impact of those changes and highlight strategies to assist governments in addressing common single audit challenges. Panelists will discuss common practices for managing procurement, subrecipient monitoring, and the use of the de minimus indirect rate. Speakers will also discuss tips for completing the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards (SEFA) and the status of the 2026 compliance supplement.
