Director of Finance

Seeking a highly professional candidate for the position of Director of Finance for Fauquier County. Reporting to the County Administrator, this position provides overall direction and leadership of the County and School Divisions’ financial operations. Responsibilities include but not limited to directing, managing, and overseeing the staff and functions of the finance department, to include accounting, procurement, accounts receivable, accounts payables, and financial reporting. Preferred candidate will have experience in financial management systems, experience with MUNIS Financial Software system a plus. Local government experience preferred.
