Director of Finance and Town Treasurer Marion K. Serfass began her career as an auditor at Ernst and Young. She then worked as regional controller for Marriott International before the joining the Town of Vienna as deputy finance director in 1999. Serfass was promoted to Director of Finance and Town Treasurer in 2016. She is currently is a board member of the Virginia Government Finance Officers' Association and the Northern Virginia Cigarette Tax Board and is a member of the Government Finance Officers' Association and the Virginia Society of CPAs. She holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from Miami University and is a certified public accountant licensed in Virginia. She earned Virginia Government Finance Officers' Association certification in 2010 and has completed the Senior Executive Institute leadership development program at the University of Virginia's Weldon Cooper Center for Public Service.
