Job Description

The Accounting Technician - Payroll is a regular full-time nonexempt position. Incumbents are responsible for performing data entry, processing payroll, preparing routine fiscal reports, reconciling accounts, and preparing fiscal forms. This position also serves as a backup to the Accounts Payable technician. Responsibilities may include working with highly sensitive and confidential personnel information.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 3 years of bookkeeping experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Payroll experience is desired.
