Administrative Associate
Parks, Recreation & Facilities Department –
Public Assembly Facilities Division
– Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week -
Primary responsibilities involve financial administrative duties in the Parks, Recreation & Facilities Department that include working independently in a highly organized environment that requires considerable accuracy and attention to detail. Working knowledge of payroll processes, accounting principles, methods, procedures and applicable experience with spreadsheets and accounting software is required. This position will assist with the completion of weekly payroll for union, nonunion and per diem employees. This position will also assist with billing and tracking revenues and expenditures related to parks, recreation and facilities management and will also assist with budget preparation. Must possess prior experience in payroll processing, maintenance of files, records and budget information and must have excellent customer service experience. Google Suite and computer experience and knowledge of accounting software is required. Prior administrative experience in a municipality is desired. Must possess a valid Class C driver's license and have and maintain a good driving record. Offers of employment are contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory criminal background check.
CEBA Union – Grade 12 – Pay range starting at $20.71/hour.
