Finance Manager
Precinct One Finance Department key areas of focus include: capital assets, capital projects, revenue, grants, accounts receivable, purchasing, accounts payable, debt, internal and external financial reporting, internal and external audit, internal control, process documentation & improvement, and data modeling & analysis. What you will do at Precinct One
- Provide financial support for the Precinct’s strategic plan, conduct analysis, and evaluate cost-effectiveness on programs and initiatives. Review practices and recommend procedure/policy adjustments.
- Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of others. Provide training, coaching, and feedback to direct reports.
- Assembles and complies with relevant data and assists in the preparation of budgets and programs.
- Develop capital plan financial model in direct consultation with Finance Director and Planning Director
- Monitor and track project cost, considering project projections and forecasts
- Ensure timely and accurate payments of contractors’ invoices.
- Manage and reconcile the capital fund accounts.
- Analyzes financial information, reviews practices, and recommends procedure/policy adjustments. Identifies trends and opportunities to lower or control costs.
- Verifies financial transactions, reconcile fund accounts, and prepare financial reports.
- Maintain asset lists and provide guidance on asset disposal program.
