Job Description

As the Vice President of Finance and Administration of the official destination marketing organization for Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama (Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism), you will develop high-level financial plans and budgets for the entire organization. This position manages the finance department including accounts payable and receivable, capital funds and expenditures, all budgets, and banking accounts. It also manages all financially related human resources matters, legal matters, as well as all, financial matters pertaining to the buildings and maintenance of the organization’s physical offices, warehouses, and vehicles. This position will continually seek new ways to utilize the tax dollars entrusted to our organization in the most transparent, productive, and effective manner, thus allowing the organization to grow and fulfill its mission. It will also consistently examine our organizational position in the community and bring forward ideas to help better serve all stakeholders.
