Justin Anderson is a Principal Management Auditor at the King County (Washington) Auditor's Office, and the Immediate Past President of the Association of Local Government Auditors (ALGA). A former prosecutor and practicing attorney, Justin discovered performance auditing and has been with the Auditor's Office since 2011. He began his service with ALGA as the assistant editor of the Local Government Auditing Quarterly before chairing the publications committee and eventually being elected to serve on the ALGA Board, as Treasurer, and then as President. Justin's audit teams have issued multiple reports addressing law and justice, human relations, and IT topics for King County, and include two ALGA Knighton Awards. Justin is a Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP), and he holds a JD from the University of Washington School of Law and a BA from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA.
