The FLC Team
The Federal Liaison Center team keeps GFOA members informed about federal legislation, regulations, court actions, and policies that affect public finance. The team analyzes and shares timely updates and represents GFOA’s positions in Washington, DC. The center participates in working groups with state and local government organizations on key issues such as public finance, tax, pensions, and banking. Staff maintain strong relationships with federal regulatory agencies, including the SEC, IRS, and MSRB, and regularly collaborate with national associations such as NACo, NLC, NGA, and NAST.
