IIJA Implementation Resources
The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), aka Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), was signed into law by President Biden on November 15, 2021. The law authorizes $1.2 trillion for transportation and infrastructure spending with $550 billion of that figure going toward “new” investments and programs.
Inflation Reduction Act Implementation
On August 16, 2022, President Biden signed the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) into law. Although the final version signed into law was a smaller, pared down version of what was initially proposed as the Administration's Build Back Better Act, the IRA still provided significant investments in three areas - taxes, climate and energy, and healthcare.
