Andy Hawkins

Mr. Hawkins is the Business Officer for the Arlington County (Virginia) Public Schools Office of Business and Financial Services with over 30 years of professional service. Mr. Hawkins has served in executive budgetary/operational roles for 8 Virginia school divisions during his career ranging from small rural school divisions to large diverse systems. APS is the 13th largest among Virginia’s 132 school divisions and has received national accolades for its high academic standards and programs that provide multiple pathways to success for every student. APS encompasses 41 schools and programs, serving nearly 28,000 PreK-12 students who speak 107 languages and represent 146 nations. APS employs nearly 8,000 full and part-time employees, including 3,000 teachers.
