Angela M. Dixon

Angela Dixon is the award-winning Chief Financial Officer for Jefferson County Commission in Birmingham, AL, the largest county in the state. With a distinguished 32-year career in accounting and finance, including five years at Ernst & Young, Angela has excelled at building top-tier accounting teams and enhancing stakeholder relations across various industries. She holds a bachelor's degree from Alabama State University and a Master of Accountancy degree from Auburn University. She is a licensed CPA in Alabama and Texas.
Angela serves on the boards of Cooper Green Mercy Health Services Authority and Alabama Women Leading Government. She is also a member of the Auburn Alumni Association and a charter member of both the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Birmingham Chapter and the Iron City Chapter of Toastmasters International. Angela enjoys attending sporting events, mentoring young professionals, and traveling with her Delta Sigma Theta sorority sisters and family.
